WHAT TO EXPECT

Booking Appointments

Appointments can be made online or over the phone. Walk-ins are also accepted subject to availability.

Your first Arrival

Clients are encouraged to arrive 5-10 minutes before their first scheduled session in order to fill out a client profile and learn about the features of the Full Spectrum Infrared Saunas. You’ll then be walked to your private room to make sure you know how to use the smart tv and sauna controls. 

Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy is that we require 2 hours’ notice before an appointment, otherwise a single session will be charged from your membership or package. If you have any queries, please contact the front desk.

What To Wear

When using our saunas, for the best results it is recommended to wear as little clothing as possible, such as a bathing suit, loose-fitting clothes or a towel in order to maximize skin exposure to the heat.

How To Prepare

It is important to be well hydrated before using an infrared sauna. Now that you’ll be sweating, make sure to drink plenty of water before, during and after your session. There is a complimentary water station to fill up your water bottle, and water is also available for purchase. Remove all makeup to allow your skin to receive the full benefits during your sauna experience.

Inside The Sauna

At the sauna hub we provide an immersive experience, with flat screen TV’s offering plenty of entertainment options, allowing you to watch your favourite shows, listen to music, read a book or magazine, or simply relax without distractions.

You may notice that It takes 10-15 minutes to break a sweat in your first session. This is because our saunas are heating your body directly, gradually raising your core temperature 2-3 degrees, rather than simply heating your skin with hot air. As your body becomes more accustomed to raising your core temperature your sweating will become more excessive and start sooner into your session. 

After Your Session

After your sauna session you will continue to perspire as your body naturally cools down, refresh and revive with our cold eucalyptus towels. Your body just flushed out a lot of toxins. Be sure to replenish and hydrate with our complementary lemon and orange alkaline water. Our fridges are also stocked with plant water and alkaline beverages. There is also a complementary Aesop moisturising Bay to use on your way out. You will want to change into something comfortable and are ok sweating in while your body cools down.

Stay Hydrated

It is important to stay hydrated when using an infrared sauna, as we naturally don’t drink enough water. Therefore, to ensure you benefit from the experience, it is essential to drink plenty of water before, during, and after your session. It is recommended to drink at least 500ml before, during and after you session.

The Sauna Hub is a wellness experience where the results are cumulative. As the body becomes accustomed to the infrared wavelengths, more sweating is expected. This means the more you come in the better you feel. Just like working out or dieting it will take a few sessions before the benefits begin to manifest.
